Listen to just one song, and you'll agree - Yamandu Costa is the most transcendent guitarist you've ever heard. A virtuoso of the 7-string guitar, the Latin GRAMMY® winner evokes the full spectrum of human emotion with technical brilliance and deep passion. Credited with reviving interest in Brazilian guitar music, his diverse repertoire includes styles like chorinho, bossa nova, milonga, tango, samba and chamamé. In addition to soloing with symphony orchestras around the world, he's collaborated with Bobby McFerrin, Richard Galliano, Doug de Vries, Gilberto Gil, Toquinho, João Bosco, Ney Matogrosso, Marisa Monte and Renato Borghetti. Presented in association with McCarter Theatre Center
