The bands latest LP Frantic has a darker attitude than previous works with a meticulously crafted sound ruthlessly dissonant in its pursuit of depraved rock thrills. Recent single and music video Living Stereo showcase the groups transition to a new wave-glam rock sound influenced heavily by producer Rick Witkowski. Often described as your older brothers cool rock and roll band, the Semi-Supervillains have performed at SXSW and other various festivals across the country for the past decade playing shows with Crack the Sky, Foxy Shazam, and King Tuff.October Beach ClubMax and Michael met during summer camp in 2008. From there, they made a pact to rock.Fruitfly Fruitfly was formed in 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project by singer/songwriter Kyle Thompson. From his self-released 2021 album Running On Fumes through to more recent releases as a full band, the message of Fruitflys music has largely revolved around making sense of the unprecedented times it was written in. Themes of isolation, hopelessness, and biting satire permeate Thompsons heart-on-the-sleeve lyrics. Dipping their toes into math rock, bedroom pop, funk, vaporwave and more, the bands holistic sound lands somewhere around indie/emo. The band is aiming to release their second album, When the Weather is Nice, in early 2024.
